John Wheless Memorial Golf Classic

Sealy Real Estate Services (SRES) proudly participated as a bronze event sponsor in the John Wheless Memorial Golf Classic. Held on November 7th, this tournament honored the memory of Jackson’s father, John Wheless, while also serving a significant cause beyond showcasing local golf talent. The primary beneficiary of this event was St. Luke’s Episcopal Medical Ministry, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to operating a mobile medical ministry in Northwest Louisiana.

Jackson Wheless expressed his sentiments about the event, saying, "The John Wheless Memorial Golf Classic is an idea I've had for years, that I am proud to see come to fruition. It is a way to use my dad's lifelong passion for the game of golf to support St. Luke's Episcopal Mobile Medical Ministry, an organization to which he devoted countless hours. It is an honor to blend his legacy with a purpose that touches many lives, embodying his dedication to the game and giving back to the community."

During the tournament, the SRES team made a notable impact, with seven players showcased in the image above from left to right: Jackson Wheless, Mark Sealy, Hannah Crowder, Brandon Creel, Roger DeKay, Grant Smith, Keaton Holley, and Jonathan Sealy.

This event marked one of the premier occasions held at Querbes Park Golf Course following its extensive $700,000 improvement project. By choosing this venue, the tournament not only celebrated the sport but also highlighted the economic growth and communal progress in the Northwest Louisiana region. Furthermore, the funds raised during the tournament will play a pivotal role in aiding St. Luke’s Medical Ministry in its ongoing mission to provide essential health services to those in need.
