Connecting Business & Policy

On Wednesday, September 24, the Sealy & Company and Sealy Real Estate Services (SRES) team attended the Public Policy Kickoff hosted by the Bossier Chamber of Commerce and Greater Shreveport Chamber at the Horseshoe Riverdome.

Debi Valentine, Vice President of HR; Ann Maxey, Brokerage Manager; and SRES agents Jackson Wheless and Brandon Creel represented the Sealy team.

The event featured Speaker of the U.S. House of Representatives Mike Johnson, who addressed key national policy issues and participated in a Q&A session with business leaders. The discussion offered direct insight into how federal legislative priorities could impact the business community in Northwest Louisiana.

This kickoff was part of the Chamber’s 2025 Public Policy Series, presented by Willis Knighton Health. The series, first launched in 2024, brings top elected officials and experts to the region to engage with local businesses on current and upcoming legislative changes. The objective aims to help companies stay informed and connected to decision-makers shaping Louisiana’s future.

The Chamber’s upcoming Public Policy sessions will continue with events featuring state leaders, including Senate President Cameron Henry, Speaker of the House Phillip Devillier, Secretary of Revenue Richard Nelson, and others.
